The West Valley Track Club has been an institution on the Northern California and national running scene for almost forty years. Founded in 1964, it is the oldest track club in Northern California. The club has been active across the spectrum of the sport, including track and field, road racing, cross country, and ultrarunning.

Ultra-Distance and Race WalkingThe Pacific Association does offer an Ultra Distance Grand Prix Series with a schedule of race events for the year. We have members who compete in this sport of great mental and physical strength. Though no structured Club workouts exist at this time, many of our members organize long trail runs. So, finding someone to accompany for your weekly 35 mile run should be no problem. Others, with a lesser interest in ultra running may be waiting for you, at trail's end, with a cold drink. Race WalkingCurrently, there are few Club members engaged in the PA USATF Race Walking
events. Any interested member may, however, elect to participate in the
events set up by the Pacific Association. |
